Torqeedo provide electric mobility for marine environments. For Silentstorm they will probably provide most of electric power on the boat.

Torqeedo was acquired by the DEUTZ Group, in 2017, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of innovative drive systems.

None of this would have been possible without our investments in Tesla becoming pure gold. However, not only do we owe a debt of gratitude to Tesla and the creative technological genius of Mr. Musk and his team of scientists and engineers, together with their partners, the world does also. 

Single-handedly, they have shown what can be done to end the tyranny of the Internal Combustion Engine industry, with its pollutant fuels, inefficient and legacy manufacturing and distribution systems, and completely unsustainable fuel generation. 

It is time the marine industry caught up. 

• TESLA

Our relationship with Navico began with B&G, through Vaan yachts. Navico are a division of the Brunswick Corporation, which is the owner of many of the biggest names in the marine industry. Navico own the brands B&G, LOWRANCE, SIMRAD (Commercial and Recreational) and C-MAP. See LINKS for more info. 

B&G are partnered with Predictwind and with Vaan Yachts.

Silentstorm is currently evaluating B&G products with a view to installing an integrated package capable of assisting us in any location, in any climate and through any situation worldwide. 

We intend to make B&G displays the hub for all our instrumentation, including the multiple cameras, transducers and marine sensors that we will have on board (e.g. depth, wind, water temp, salinity, acidity, radioactivity, and hydrophonics). 

In this way Silentstorm will be able to measure the whole ocean environment above and below water passively and constantly, publishing the data as we go via a constant satellite link (currently planned to be Starlink).
